Our Approach

The Greenwich Peninsula Masterplan is one of Europe’s largest regeneration schemes. Developer Knight Dragon is leading the masterplan to create what has been described as London’s ‘ultimate village’ for arty, foody, design-savvy Londoners. We working with Conran & Partners who were commissioned to design the interiors for two residential towers: The Lighterman and The Waterman. The development includes 102 private and 123 affordable homes, a stunning penthouse apartment and contemporary communal spaces.

The interior design concept was inspired by the area's rich industrial history, the green parks of Greenwich, Blackheath and the river, while creating spaces that serve as places to work, socialise and escape.

The Lighterman Tower

The Lighterman entrance is at the heart of the project, with a monolithic marble reception desk complemented by warmer natural materials to reflect the balance between organic and order. This design language is utilised throughout the interior, while ironmongery and brassware make subtle references to the site’s industrial past.

The Waterman Tower

In contrast to the tonal Lighterman interiors, The Waterman interior palette is more graphic and monochromatic. A bold architectural language provides the backdrop for carefully selected statement furniture and art pieces, creating unique and inviting spaces.
